Hot day , lost the toss, put in the field. Bollocks.After pre-game ice poles, stella (she's our roadie) and plaggy-football-shanking the Mighty 8s rocked down to Crofton in a shuttle fashion to repeat the heroics of 3 weeks ago. There were two wickets cut, was one very green, the other a light shade of vermillion, we were on the darker of the two, the one with the big bump at the end. Well, well, well... What can I say about yesterdays game?
We played our 5th league game of the season against Old Wilsonians at Crofton Albion. Nice bar, shame about the pitch. On a very damp and dreary day I lost the toss and we were put in to bat. Mark "The Count" Bridle and Tommy "Legs" Pryke opened the batting and got us off to a solid start. Right, I've finally managed to get on to this new fangled web-job. Firstly, excellent work from Mr Seb to completey upgrade the BCC site, great stuff!
So to recap on the season so far, 3 losses and a win is the size of it. We've struggled to put really solid , all-round team performances in. This hasn't been helped by the fact that I have missed the last two games due to an injury.
