The first cricket weather of the season brought the 4s their first win of the season, thanks to an astonishing bowling spell from Ifthakar Ahmed.
Tenterden appeared confident after winning the toss and putting us in on a wicket which looked to have plenty for the bowlers. When Blackheath finally got back into the pavillion to defrost their hands at 8.15pm after 54 overs in the field, they had made a positive if frustating start to their first season in division 2.
