Play Cricket - Blackheath CC Site
Blackheath Cricket Club field eight senior Saturday league teams, two senior Saturday non-league teams and three Sunday XI's.
The 1st XI & 2nd XI play in the Kent League Premier & Premier (Reserve) Division, the 3rd XI compete in the Kent League Division 5 (1st XI's), the 4th XI in the Kent League Division 3 (2nd XI's), the 5th XI play in Kent West Division 1A League (1st XI's) and the 6th XI in Kent West Division 2B, while the 3A XI represent the club in the top South Thames League, Division 1and the Mighty 8's compete in South Thames Division 2. The 1st XI represent the Club in the Evening Standard and National Knock Cup competitions.. The Sunday team compete in the Aero Kent Development League. The Sunday 2nd XI play in the South London Cricket League. The Sunday 3rd XI play attractive local social cricket.
The colts section have representative teams at U10, U11, U12, U13, U15 & U16 in the local leagues. The Womens Club has two teams, one playing in an U18 fixtures and the 1st XI playing in the Southern Women's League. Club training in the summer takes place weekly on Monday's (starts 6pm) at the home ground, The Rectory Field.
Therefore it is safe to say that the Club caters for all type of cricketer - ranging from minor-county to social players. We play cricket very competitively on the field, while off the field there is a great atmosphere and plenty of focus on the finer aspects of the game - a beer or two or maybe three. The Cricket Club is a well organised, and accommodates and welcomes players of all abilities and aspirations. If you would like to join the Club, email Jon Taylor or call on 07710 356 886
